One thing\u2019s for certain \u2013 learning and using these tricky bits of language is always a very rewarding task! Today, we\u2019re taking a closer look at <strong>learnt<\/strong> and <strong>learned<\/strong> \u2013 what\u2019s the difference? When do we use them?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-link-color wp-elements-69901ef9cb996d4d9056551e0a9bbfef\">\u2018Learned\u2019 and \u2018learnt\u2019 are both used as the past participle and past tense forms of the verb \u2018to learn\u2019. Both versions of the word are actually correct and widely used in the English-speaking world, but there is one small difference between the two words. \u2018Learned\u2019 is the preferred way of spelling in the US and Canada, while \u2018learnt\u2019 is favoured in British English.
